Ruddy A. Frias is a queer Afro-Latinx dance artist, educator, and choreographer from the Bronx whose work bridges concert dance, street styles, and cultural storytelling rooted in the African and Latin diasporas.

As an educator, Frias has taught nationally and internationally, including faculty positions at Ballet Hispánico, Earl Mosley Institute of the Arts, and Shenandoah University. His choreography has been presented at The Ailey School, ACDA, Jamaica Dance Festival, and National Dance Institute. A Lotus Foundation Grant recipient, Frias continues to develop work centered on diasporic narratives and queer movement histories and to explore the global reach of Vogue through choreographic research in Brazil and the Dominican Republic.
